Setting up Zoom Room with Angekis

March 12, 2019

Angekis - The Official Technology Partner of Zoom

This year, we have made significant steps to improve our interoperability between our Award Winning Cameras and Zoom Video Communications. The most recent update we made involved deploying our award winning SABER 12x cameras and setting it up with Zoom Room.

What is Zoom Room?

Zoom Room is a software-based room system that provides an integrated experience for audio conferencing, wireless screen sharing and video conferencing. Zoom Rooms can be used for room only attendees or remote attendees joining from another room, from their desktop, or from their mobile device.

Each room requires, at minimum, a Mac or Windows computer that runs the Zoom Rooms software, and an iPad, Android or Windows 10 tablet that runs the Zoom Rooms app. Additional equipment can include TV displays, speakers, cameras, microphones, and an iPad that runs the Zoom Rooms Scheduling Display.

How to Setup Zoom Room with Angekis Hardware?

To deploy a full Zoom Room, the account must include Zoom Rooms licenses or a free 30 day trial of Zoom Rooms. You can purchase Zoom Room licenses at Zoom Rooms.

Next, we will provide a step by step guide of connecting our award winning Saber 12x with Zoom Room to ensure an excellent quality video call.
